The Coldstream Regiment was formed in 1650 by George Monck, a General in Oliver Cromwell’s “New Model Army,” and is therefore one of the oldest regiments in the world. The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards is Scotland’s senior regiment and her only regular cavalry. The "Scots DG" is famous for their outstanding Pipes and Drums who perform worldwide.
Pipes, drums and highland dancers perform music of Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales, producing a grand martial spectacle that makes any performance by Pipes, Drums and Dancers of Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and The Regimental Band, Her Majesty's Coldstream Guards moving and unforgettable.
