50th Anniversary Celebration Concert!
Federico Cortese

Sunday, March 9, 3pm, Symphony Hall

For nearly 50 years, the Greater Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra (GBYSO) has provided talented young musicians—in this case, elementary and secondary school students—with opportunities for personal and artistic growth through musical training in a professional environment. This in itself is a wonderful thing and no small feat, but what is more incredible about this group is the quality and integrity of the music they and music director Federico Cortese create. Celebrate
50 years of fine music with Federico Cortese, clarinetist Richard Stoltzman and the orchestra as they look to the future under a new name: Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras.
