This concert is part of five performances in the Neighborhood Arts Jazz & Contemporary Music series. The in-person performance is free and open to the public; RSVP for email reminders and updates. The performance will also be available digitally for on-demand viewing on YouTube the following Thursday at 8:00 pm and for 3 months after the premiere.
Guitarist and vocalist Albino Mbie returns to the Series with his Trio for a performance featuring Mozambican jazz and original songs done in his signature global, feel-good style. With Mbie's smooth voice, bouncy beats, and a sound that's at home with retro synths and funky bass lines, this will be an enjoyable afternoon!
