Digital Concert: Castle of our Skins
For Black People
Recorded at Salvation Army Kroc Center, Dorchester, this digital concert is the third of five streaming performances in the Neighborhood Arts Jazz & Contemporary Music series. The digital performance will be available on YouTube for three months following the initial stream; RSVP for email reminders and updates
GRAMMY-nominated vocalist and composer Débo Ray made her Series debut as a headliner with a solo performance from her home studio during the pandemic, and we hope you'll join her and her Quartet when they take the stage at the Kroc Center for a free performance! The concert promises musical variety -- Débo's influences include jazz, rock, and world music, for starters -- and the blend of uncompromising skill and relatable emotion that make Débo Ray an audience favorite and valued collaborator with international stars in New York and beyond.
From innovative concerts in the comfort of your living room to outdoor collaboration featuring virtuosic Boston-based artists, this season will feel both familiar and new!
