Aakash Odedra Company (Canceled)

NEC - Black Box

This performance has been canceled. We hope to bring the artist to Boston for a yet-to-be-determined future season.

One of the most exciting young talents on the international dance scene, British artist Aakash Odedra makes his highly anticipated Boston debut in a captivating solo show featuring his own choreography as well as contributions from high-profile European artists Akram Khan and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.  An extraordinary and multifaceted dancer, Odedra is known for his mesmerizing agility, razor-sharp precision, and enviable poise. Drawing on his background in classical Indian dance styles of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, Odedra creates an evening of contemporary dance that is lyrical and graceful, brutal and raw, edgy and animalistic.

Seating for this performance is limited.
