Named Best Emerging Choreographer by Dance Magazine, Caleb Teicher is known for a unique style of theatricality, humor, emotional expression, and aesthetic exploration. Composer and pianist Conrad Tao is a Lincoln Center Emerging Artist regarded as “shaping the future of classical music” (New York Magazine). Teicher and Tao, both former teenage prodigies now in their mid-20’s, are garnering much attention and acclaim with accolades beyond their years.  In the new evening-length work, More Forever, Teicher and his dancers explore American dance forms such as tap, vernacular jazz, and Lindy Hop, set to Tao’s new contemporary score for piano and electronics performed live by the composer.

“One of the brightest lights in tap today”

The New Yorker

“[Conrad Tao’s] use of release and silence at the end of phrases was astounding; the interplay between quiet and loud, between percussive and stroked footwork, and the immense range of dynamics and meters within a phrase. ”

The New York Times

“More Forever is both youthful and sophisticated.”
