Veronica Robles Female Mariachi Band

The popular Neighborhood Arts Day of the Dead family concert returns with Mexican singer Veronica Robles and her all-female mariachi band at Union United Methodist Church, on November 2.  Tickets are $5, proceeds to benefit the Veronica Robles Cultural Center.

“I want people to understand that mariachi music, it’s an art,” Veronica said to WBUR. “And we play beautiful music — simple songs, but also very elaborated arrangements.”

We were thrilled to host Veronica and her powerful, groundbreaking women of her mariachi in their debut season last year, and can't wait to welcome them back to celebrate the Day of the Dead!
