Evgeny Kissin, piano (Canceled)

Symphony Hall

This performance has been canceled. We hope to bring back this artist to Boston for a future season.

In recent seasons, Evgeny Kissin has done it all; he’s appeared to acclaim on the Series as a chamber music partner with the Emerson String Quartet, and as a collaborative pianist with the esteemed soloist Itzhak Perlman. He returns to center stage in 2021 with his first Symphony Hall solo recital since 2013-14, an event that promises power, staggering technical prowess, and sublime music-making.

Frédéric Chopin | Nocturnes

Robert Schumann | Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Opus 14

Claude Debussy | Selections from Préludes, Book I and Book II
