Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis

Symphony Hall

Since hearing the band’s debut in 1992, Celebrity Series audiences have known and loved the awe-inspiring musical juggernaut that is Wynton Marsalis and his Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Marsalis brings out the very best in his bandmates, wearing many hats as one of the group's trumpeters, a frequent soloist, occasional composer, artistic director, and passionate ambassador for jazz on the world stage.

This time-tested ensemble, no matter what they play, always delivers a tight and polished experience that impeccably conjures the Big Band heyday, whether they are playing new works or reinterpreting classics. Marsalis’ insightful commentary and often witty banter will draw you even closer to the music and the stories behind it.

Don’t miss the return of this audience-favorite ensemble!
