Monterey Jazz Festival 60th Anniversary Celebration Starring Cécile McLorin Salvant

Berklee Performance Center

The Monterey Jazz Festival holds the distinction of being the longest consecutively running jazz festival in the world. Pianist and musical director Christian Sands celebrates this 60 year tradition with a stunning lineup of saxophonist Melissa Aldana, trumpeter Bria Skonberg, bassist Yasushi Nakamura, drummer Jamison Ross, and starring vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant.

“Only a few years into her career, [Salvant] has absorbed the music’s history and made it her own.”
