In his fifteen years at the helm of Rome’s Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Sir Antonio Pappano has breathed new life into the orchestra and cultivated a sound that allows for sweeping drama and fine articulation. Boston audiences were thrilled with the orchestra’s sold-out concert in 2018 and look forward to this rare visit from renowned violinist Maxim Vengerov as a highlight of the season.
