With an overwhelming talent and innate musicality, Seong-Jin Cho is a rising star on the world stage and considered one of the most distinctive pianists of his generation. His playing, by turns, thoughtful, poetic, assertive, tender, virtuosic, and colorful, can combine panache with purity and is driven by an impressive natural sense of balance. Seong-Jin Cho first came to the world’s attention in 2015 when he became the first South Korean to win the prestigious Gold Medal at the Chopin International Competition in Warsaw.
