Puerto Rican cuatro standout Fabiola Méndez takes the stage as a Stringfest mentor for the first time. Join Fabiola and young musicians as they collaborate to perform Puerto Rican songs arranged for cuatro, jazz trio, and strings.  

Whether you’re accompanying your young musician, or if you just want to hear some amazing adult musicians as they mentor and support a group of talented kids, we hope you’ll come out to celebrate Puerto Rico, and the versatility of stringed instruments at our second Stringfest of the season! Stringfest performances are a mainstay of our community programs and offer young musicians an opportunity to learn from and perform alongside renowned Boston-based musicians and spoken-word artists.
