Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater: Haze will be used during all performances (except Saturday, May 6th at 2pm). Haze will be used approximately 50 minutes into the performance.

Available Services

Accessible Seating  wheelchair icon  

Celebrity Series offers accessible seating in each of our venues. Accessible seating is available to purchase online, or via phone through our Box Office at 617-482-6661. 

When selecting your seats, please make sure to note in the seating preferences block at check out if the patron in that seat will be remaining in their wheelchair or transferring to a seat for the performance. If there are any additional accommodations that we can provide, please also note them at checkout.

Any accessible seating purchases for the Boch Center Shubert Theatre, the Boch Center Wang Theatre, or Sanders Theatre performances must go through the Box Office of each of these venues. Sign Language Interpretation  american sign language icon 

The Celebrity Series of Boston offers American sign language interpretation for any free or ticketed performance upon request. Requests for sign language interpreters must be received at least four weeks prior to the event by contacting Celebrity Series at 617-482-2595 or ada@celebrityseries.org. All requests are subject to the availability of an interpreter and provided at the discretion of the management.

For the first time in 2023, we're committing to American Sign Language interpretation for a slate of performances, no special request needed. Visit our ASL Interpretation page for more information and to purchase seats with the best view of the interpreter/s. As other guests request interpreters, we will add to the list of interpreted performances.

Assistive listening devices are available upon request for performances at the Berklee Performance Center, NEC’s Jordan Hall, Sanders Theatre, the Shubert Theatre, Symphony Hall, and the Wang Theatre.

Braille and Large Print Programs  braille icon

Braille and Large Print Programs for performances are available upon request. Requests must be received at least four weeks prior to the event by contacting Celebrity Series at 617-482-2595 or ada@celebrityseries.org.  

Voice Relay  tty access icon

Celebrity Series welcomes calls via voice relay, through Mass Relay. Simply dial 711 from your phone or TTY, and an operator will assist you.

Accessible Pricing Programs

We recognize that there are many factors that can make it a challenge to attend a performance. For financial barriers to attendance, we offer a number of programs that can help groups and individuals access our performances.

Via Neighborhood Arts and Take Your Seat, Celebrity Series offers free and discounted tickets to selected performances to schools and community partners. To learn more, please contact Israel Gutierrez at ig@celebrityseries.org.
