Meadow Hall

The smaller of two acoustically-tuned concert halls in the building, Meadow Hall is a welcoming and comfortable 300 seat space that is at once airy and intimate.

Washed in natural light, the Meadow Hall stage invites guests to feel connected to both the artist and to the bucolic hills surrounding the unique facility. The curved, Southern Yellow Pine walls are acoustically designed to carry rich sound evenly across every listener, and the seating is layered to create a sense of intimacy throughout the hall. Meadow Hall was built to bring concert-goers together and leave them feeling alive with the magic of sound.

The building features ample free parking on site, and is fully accessible. Assistive listening devices are available to borrow at no charge.

Architecture

The Groton Hill Music Center, inspired by New England villages and farmsteads, was designed by Alan Joslin and Deborah Epstein of Epstein Joslin Architects, the firm and principals who created the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport.

Note about performance programs

In the 2023/24 season, all artists presenting two concerts - in a Boston/Cambridge venue and at Meadow Hall - will perform the same program in both events.

Dining and Concessions

The Woodland Room

Dining at the Woodland Room provides concertgoers with warm and welcoming service, a seamless table-to-concert experience, and all the convenience of on-site parking. Their three course meals are served prix fixe with tax and gratuity included, as well as a wine and cocktail menu available at table-side for additional cost.

Meadow Hall Concessions

Before the performance or at intermission, the concessions counter near Meadow Hall offers a full bar, with beer, cider, and wine. Other beverage choices include seltzer, wine, water, and soda. Snack choices include cookies, brownies, assorted candy bars, and assorted chips.

Accessibility

Groton Hill Music Center is a fully accessible venue. Accessible seating and elevator service is available on all levels of our main performance spaces. Wheelchair spaces are designated by the accessibility symbol on the seating chart (♿︎), and companion seats adjacent to the wheelchair spaces are designated by a star symbol (★). These seats are only intended for patrons who require this accommodation. If there are any additional accommodations that we can provide, please also note them at checkout.

“Groton Hill’s stunning new venue is a beautifully designed and acoustically brilliant music hall that is certain to become a desired destination for artists touring New England.”
