Recognized as one of the world's finest concert halls, Boston's Symphony Hall is home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and has been a Celebrity Series partner venue since 1938.
The BSO has achieved the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities, indicating an implementation of the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention.
Learn More Symphony Hall is fully accessible. No stairs are required to reach any of the seats in the orchestra, however the aisles are slanted. There is an accessible entrance on the Huntington Ave side of the building, in the Cohen Wing entrance, which also has an elevator to bring patrons to the 1st and 2nd balconies. Some steps are required to reach rows A and B in both the 1st and 2nd balconies. Wheelchair accessible seats are located on the orchestra level.
The Access Service Center, located at the Cohen Wing entrance on Huntington Avenue, dispenses assistive listening headsets, wheelchairs, and large-print programs, and emergency medical equipment. The staff will also assist patrons to and from their seats or vehicles, or with any other requests.
