Celebrate Vivaldi’s masterpiece with an unforgettable journey through Venice and the Middle East.
The Venice of Antonio Vivaldi’s time was one of the great cosmopolitan and entrepreneurial centers of the early eighteenth century. Artistic expression throughout Europe thrived due to free-flowing influence from the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.
In a stunning recasting of The Four Seasons, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, renowned for their innovative collaborations, breathes new life and new perspectives into Vivaldi’s iconic work. Celebrated violinist Richard Tognetti and the seventeen musicians of the Australian Chamber Orchestra will be joined by brothers Joseph Tawadros, oud (Middle Eastern lute) virtuoso, and James Tawadros, a master of the tambourine-like riq.
