This red-hot young quartet was founded in 2019 at the Juilliard School and was launched on their current trajectory by winning one of the most prestigious awards in chamber music at the 2022 Banff Competition. Their artistry and limitless potential were further recognized when they were awarded a 2023 Avery Fisher Career Grant.  

Hailed for their “blazing virtuosity” by, the Isidore Quartet aims to revisit, rediscover, and reinvigorate the string quartet repertoire by creating enjoyable, approachable, and intimate concert experiences. 

The Quartet’s Banff triumph has opened doors for a debut tour around the country, as well as appearances at major festivals across Europe. This playful, adventurous, and talented group is in the earliest stages of what promises to be a major career: be there for the Isidore String Quartet’s local debut concerts.

This performance will also take place in Groton Hill on March 28 at 8:00 PM.
