Founded in 1985 with two goals, to have fun and “not to lose money,” the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has been delighting audiences and subverting expectations all around the world for over four decades. Their self-described “world tour with only hand luggage” has taken them to prestigious venues and festivals worldwide, including the Houses of Parliament and the Last Night of the Proms.
