David Sedaris

Symphony Hall

Aging. Politics. Family drama. Pretty heavy stuff, right?

For a lot of authors, sure, but not from the pen of the incomparable David Sedaris. Big issues are taken down to size, conflicts are sliced through, and hilarity emerges, somehow, from misfortune in David Sedaris’ telling.

Some problems don’t go away, but David Sedaris invites you to see them in a new way: to find a way to laugh despite everything that vexes us or divides us.

David will read new and unpublished works, and will stay after the performance to meet and sign books for every person in line.

This performance features American Sign Language interpretation.

“David Sedaris is a “champion storyteller.””
