Acclaimed for her “extraordinary” and “kaleidoscopic” recital programs (Los Angeles Times), Yang brings Boston audiences a program anchored in piano suites that show off her range of colors and emotional sensitivity. Yang’s program features Schumann’s Kreisleriana—a captivating dialogue between lyricism and fiery passion—and Gershwin’s Songbook for Piano—18 of the composer’s iconic songs, playfully reimagined—to take you on a virtuosic, exuberant journey through myriad styles and emotions. 

This performance is an Aaron Richmond Recital, named in honor of Celebrity Series of Boston's founder, and endowed by his daughter Nancy Richmond Winsten and her late husband Dr. Joseph Winsten.
