Harpist Charles Overton—a Boston-based standout who takes the harp from jazz to chamber to Symphony Hall—joins Grammy Award-winning trombonist Kalia Vandever for an afternoon of ambient, chilled-out, ethereal jazz that offers a welcome escape from the everyday hustle. 

Brooklyn-based Kalia Vandever, who has played alongside pop icons like Harry Styles and Demi Lovato and has twice appeared on Saturday Night Live, brings a dreamy, luminous touch to her own compositions, pairing beautifully with Overton’s harp. 

A longtime Series favorite, Charles Overton is celebrated for his boundary-pushing collaborations and introspective compositions, making him an ideal partner for Vandever’s evocative and transportive style.
