Colombian vocalist Manuela Sánchez-Goubert is a current student at Berklee's Global Jazz Institute and has already crafted a sound that is unmistakably her own—one that bridges cultures and genres with bold originality, paving the way for a career with global impact.

Sánchez-Goubert found her voice when she began singing in Spanish and Portuguese, weaving traditional South American rhythms and instruments into the “standard” Western jazz instrumentation.

Her ensemble of musicians from across South American cultures share a love of blending Latin American tradition with contemporary jazz. Together, they will perform selections from their debut album, Raices (“Roots”), an immersive and captivating journey, rich with emotion and the many rhythms of Latin music.
