Simone Porter, violin

Hsin-I Huang, piano
Longy's Pickman Hall

Seattle native Simone Porter has everything—a lovely tone, power, a musical maturity beyond her years, and an Avery Fisher Career Grant. Best of all, she seems utterly entranced by the music, rather than flamboyantly performing. That musicality is what makes her such a compelling performer and exciting prospect. Porter offers a personal program designed to show how literature can enrich our understanding of, and love for, music. Simone will introduce the program and guide the audience through this wonderful journey.

Seating for this performance is limited.
