Established in 2017, the Innovation Fund is a managed withdrawal fund designed to support a rich variety of artistic and organizational infrastructure activities.
Since the 2018/19 Season, the Innovation Fund has helped resource over 125 different projects.
The overall goal of the Innovation Fund is to enable innovative performance not previously presented by the Celebrity Series, new initiatives that enhance our community engagement work and support investment in infrastructure and personnel to improve our patron’s experience of live performance.
This Fund may be used to cover expenses including but not limited to—Boston or East Coast premieres, newly commissioned works, projects which engage the public in live performance and performances by artist(s), music or choreography new to the organization.
