Celebrity Series of Boston Announces Viano Quartet to Perform in Place of Meta4 on November 2 

(For Immediate Release—September 15, 2025—Boston, MA) — Celebrity Series of Boston announces that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Meta4's performance scheduled for November 2 in Meadow Hall at Groton Hill Music Center is no longer possible. Meta4 hopes to be able to return to Celebrity Series in a future season.  

Celebrity Series is pleased to announce that the Viano Quartet will be stepping in, making their Celebrity Series debut in a performance featuring works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Webern, and Shostakovich. The quartet are 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipients, and recently released their first full-length album, “Voyager.” 

The performance will be on the same date, time, and location—Sunday, November 2 at 3pm at Meadow Hall at Groton Hill Music Center. 

Ticket holders will be contacted by the Celebrity Series Box Office and given the option to keep their tickets for the Viano Quartet's performance, to receive a refund, to exchange into another performance, or to donate their ticket value.
