Digital Concert: Albino Mbie

Mozambican voices and cultures

Due to scheduling conflicts, this digital performance premiere has been moved to Thursday, December 9 at 8:00 PM; RSVP for email reminders and updates.

Recorded at Salvation Army Kroc Center in Dorchester, this digital concert is part of five streaming performances in the Neighborhood Arts Jazz & Contemporary Music series. The digital performance will be available on YouTube for three months following the initial stream.

Guitarist and vocalist Albino Mbie returns to the Series with his trio for a performance featuring Mozambican jazz and original songs done in his signature global, feel-good style. With Mbie's smooth voice, bouncy beats, and a sound that's at home with retro synths and funky bass lines, this will be an enjoyable performance to stream!
