21st-century Classical music
Hub New Music (flute, clarinet, violin, cello) showcases 21st century composers, including Robert Honstein’s Soul House with Urbanity Dance. Tickets are $5, to benefit the Urbanity Dance youth programs. Hub New Music will direct composition residencies with school performances at Josiah Quincy School and Boston Renaissance Charter School.

The 60th Anniversary of Bossa Nova
Bossa Nova was born in a recording studio in Rio in 1958, created by João Gilberto. His daughter Bebel, now a thrilling Bossa Nova vocalist teams with multi-Grammy-winning keyboardist and vocalist Sérgio Mendes to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the cultural phenomenon.

56 cellists celebrate Pablo Casals
